Artykuł przyjmuje konsekwentnie perspektywę pedagogiki i ma na celu analizę dyskursu edukacji do pokoju w warunkach współczesnych przemian społecznych, kulturowych i politycznych. Głównym celem tekstu jest rekonstrukcja sposobów konceptualizowania wychowania i edukacji do pokoju oraz ukazanie ich znaczenia dla kształtowania pokojowych relacji społecznych. Problem badawczy koncentruje się wokół pytania: W jaki sposób wychowanie – rozumiane jako społecznie osadzony proces wspomagania rozwoju człowieka – może sprzyjać budowaniu postaw i relacji opartych na dialogu, odpowiedzialności i szacunku dla Innego? Zastosowaną metodą badawczą jest jakościowa analiza dyskursu pedagogicznego, obejmująca klasyczne i współczesne koncepcje wychowania, edukacji oraz pedagogiki pokoju.
Education for Peace in the Context of Contemporary Challenges
The article consistently adopts the perspective of pedagogy and aims to analyze the discourse of peace education in the context of contemporary social, cultural, and political transformations. The main objective of the text is to reconstruct the ways in which upbringing and peace education are conceptualized and to demonstrate their significance for shaping peaceful social relations. The research problem focuses on the question of how upbringing – understood as a socially embedded process of supporting human development – can contribute to the formation of attitudes and relationships based on dialogue, responsibility, and respect for the Other. The research method employed is a qualitative analysis of pedagogical discourse, encompassing both classical and contemporary concepts of upbringing, education, and peace pedagogy.
