Artykuł popularyzuje zasadniczą wiedzę dotyczącą wychowania moralno-religijnego w polskiej myśli pedagogicznej okresu romantyzmu. To właśnie wówczas zaczęto wcielać w życie nową strategię wychowania dzieci i młodzieży, znacznie różniącą się od idei pedagogicznych doby oświecenia. Romantyczne wzorce wychowawcze były budowane na fundamencie zasad wiary katolickiej i płynących z niej wzorców moralnych. W artykule scharakteryzowano zarówno myśl pedagogiczną najwybitniejszych krzewicieli idei wychowawczych epoki, jak i pedagogów mniej znanych, ale otwarcie głoszących tezy dotyczące wychowania moralno-religijnego. Ówczesne poglądy na wychowanie moralno-religijne formowały się na gruncie prądów romantycznych, które w polskich warunkach szczególnie mocno rozwinęły się w latach trzydziestych, czterdziestych i pięćdziesiątych XIX stulecia.
Moral-religious Education in the Polish Pedagogical Thought of the Romanticism Period
The article popularises the essential knowledge about moral-religious upbringing in Polish pedagogical thought of the Romantic period. It was the time of introduction into practice of a new strategy for educating children and young people, one that differed significantly from the pedagogical ideas of the Enlightenment era. Romantic educational models were built on the foundation of the principles of the Catholic faith and the moral models that arose from it. The article characterises both the pedagogical thought of the most prominent promoters of the educational ideas of the era, as well as pedagogues who are less well known but openly proclaimed theses on moral-religious education. The views on moral-religious education of the time were formed on the basis of Romantic concepts, which in Polish conditions developed particularly strongly in the 1830s, 1840s and 1850s.
