Beatyfikacja Jana Pawła II staje się okazją do refleksji nad fenomenem jego sztuki wychowania czyli nad autorytetem wychowawcy nowego pokolenia wierzących. Wielu uwierzyło, że droga papieża Wojtyły ku świętości może stać się także ich drogą szczęścia, którym jest Jezus Chrystus i życie we wspólnocie z Nim. Pytanie o skuteczność jego wpływu to pytanie o to, dlaczego Jan Paweł II może być nazywany mistrzem wychowania. Źródłem jego siły wychowawczej był Chrystus i Jego naśladowanie na wzór Maryi. Następnie podkreślony został wychowawczy wpływ na młodzież przede wszystkim poprzez inicjatywę Światowych Dni Młodzieży. Schyłek życia Jana Pawła II pokazał, ze także jego cierpienie stało się instrumentem jego wychowawczego oddziaływania. Sens cierpienia i starości objawił się w pełni w dniach śmierci papieża – dniach będących lekcja na temat wartości i godności życia każdego człowieka.

The beatification of pope John Paul II becomes an opportunity to reflect on the phenomenon of his art education, this means on the authority of the teacher of a new generation of believers. Many believed that the way to holiness of the pope may also be the way of their happiness, which is Jesus Christ and life in communion with Him. A question about the effectiveness of its impact is the question of why John Paul II can be called a master of education. The source of his power of education was Christ and His imitation according to the example of Mary. The pope was a teacher in the school of Jesus and Mary. That is why his faith was strong and became an authentic testimony of disciple and shepherd. The main concern of the pope was a man. As taught in the encyclical letter Redemptor hominis “man is the way of the Church” and therefore the man was the way of John Paul II. In the educational process the pope was trying to help a person to become fully human, find the truth about himself and live the experience of meeting with Christ. Then the educational impact for young people has been highlighted primarily through the initiative of the World Youth Days. The decline of the John Paul’s life showed that the suffering has become the instrument of its educational impact. The meaning of suffering and old age appeared to be fully on the death of the Pope – days which were lesson about the value and dignity of every human life.
